In the context of rampant climate change, it is up to the legal sector to set the course against impending “faits accomplis“. To ensure long-lasting success in combating this crisis, we need to assess the status quo and the causes that have led up to this point. Only then can we effectively learn from history and take the next leap forward. This international discourse allows for just such an exchange of different perspectives on the history of environmental law. We strive to strengthen and challenge our current point of view in our mission for a better future.
