Welcome to the AUGgsburg Research School on EnvironMENT - Disease Interactions AUGMENT

AUGMENT is a research initiative that unites doctoral candidates from medicine and natural sciences to accelerate research in the Environmental Health Sciences. Our research school currently supports 11 research projects focused on the complex relationship between environmental exposure and human health. The program combines hands-on research, a structured curriculum, and collaborative networking with an emphasis on scientific exchange.
AUGMENT is a vital part of the Environmental Health Sciences agenda of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Augsburg. It is a cornerstone of the overarching “Human-Environment-Translation” program of the University of Augsburg working in conjunction with additional initiatives including the Center for Climate Resilience and the Environmental Science Center (WZU).
