Yujie Dong ist Doktorandin an der School of Media and Communication der Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In ihrer Forschung legt sie einen besonderen Fokus auf Gesundheitskommunikation, insbesondere darauf, wie neue Medien die Gesundheit und das Wohlbefinden der Menschen in kurz- und langfristigen Interaktionen beeinflussen. Ihre Arbeiten wurden in renommierten SSCI-Zeitschriften veröffentlicht, darunter Human Communication Research, Communication Research, Journal of Health Communication und Media, Culture & Society.

Yujie unterstützt das Team von Prof. Dr. Sebastian Scherr am Lehrstuhl für Digital Health Communication von Anfang Juni bis Anfang November 2024. Der Forschungsaufenthalt wird durch ein DAAD-Forschungsstipendium gefördert. Während ihres Aufenthalts wird Yujie aktiv mit den Forscher:innen der Gesundheitskommunikation und Medienpsychologie an der Universität Augsburg zusammenarbeiten!

Yujie Dong is a visiting researcher at the Chair of Digital Health Communication!

Yujie Dong is a doctoral candidate from the School of Media and Communication at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her research primarily focuses on health communication, especially how emerging media impacts people’s health and well-being in short- and long-term interactions. Her work has been published in prominent SSCI journals, including Human Communication Research, Communication Research, Journal of Health Communication, and Media, Culture & Society, among others.

Yujie is supporting Prof. Dr. Sebastian Scherr's team at the Chair of Digital Health Communication from early June to early November 2024. The research visit is supported by the DAAD research grant. During this research visit, Yujie will actively collaborate with the health communication and media psychology researchers at the University of Augsburg!
