"impACTup! Academic Pathways to Impact and Innovation" (Kick-off event: 30 September 2024 via Zoom)
impACTup! Academic Pathways to Impact and Innovation impACTup! is a joint impact-oriented entrepreneurship qualification program offered by the LMU Munich, the University of Augsburg, and the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM), funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts. We provide profound insights into impact and strive to introduce entrepreneurship as an effective tool for implementing socially relevant innovations to everyone. Research, teaching, and entrepreneurial activity are linked and complement each other. Our aim is to implement academic topics relevant to entrepreneurship in the curriculum and translate research findings into practical applications. The course held in English is designed for academic personnel and PhD students. After a kick-off event via zoom, participants will explore impact, innovation and entrepreneurship in a self study through several short video snippets and exercises. As a follow-up meeting in person, there will be a keynote speech by Michael Johler on the medical project
ALERT-ITS, an overview to the startup infrastructure in Augsburg, as well as the opportunity to network.
September 30, 2024 (Kick-Off via Zoom) / October 10, 2024 (Closing event in person at BCM, Alter Postweg 101, 7th floor, Augsburg)
