This year's MAER-Net Colloquium will be held at the University of Augsburg, Germany, hosted by the research group for applied data analysis, Dr. Jerome Geyer-Klingeberg and Prof. Dr. Andreas Rathgeber.

 

Meta-Analysis of Economics Research (MAER-Net) is an international network of scholars who specialize or use meta-analysis to understand economics, business and the social sciences. The purpose of the annual colloquium is to share ideas and methods among meta-analysts and to introduce young scholars across the disciplines to this rapidly growing field.

 

In 2024 there are two distinguished keynote speakers: John P.A. Ioannidis, one of the most-cited scientists of all times from Stanford University, and Taisuke Imai from Osaka University, Japan.
