As of August 1, 2023, Dr. Jan Meier-Kolthoff has taken over the leadership of the newly established Bioinformatics Core Facility at the University of Augsburg. The Chair of Biomedical Informatics, Data Mining, and Data Analytics is overseeing the establishment and operation of this Core Facility, which functions as a university-wide service and research unit located at the intersection of medicine and informatics.
