Research
Impact of weather, climate and climate change on health
- Determination of recent and future exposure to air pollutants (e.g. ozone)
- Estimate local climate changes relevant to health
- Investigate specific links between individual diseases and weather and air pollutants (e.g. aortic rupture)
- Develop adaptation measures to climate change in the health sector
- Developing educational materials on climate change and health and planetary health
Methodological priorities:
- Quantitative Methods/Geostatistics
- Statistical downscaling
- Bias correction of climate model data
