The Medical Faculty of the University of Augsburg, founded in 2016, is a project with great appeal in the region and beyond. Based on the existing strengths of the university, research focuses on the two main areas of Medical Information Sciences and Environmental Health Sciences, which give new impetus to classical medical research. The model course integrates pre-clinical and clinical content and places special emphasis on the students’ academic education. The new interdisciplinary team ‘Ethics in Medicine’, directed by Prof. Dr. med. Verina Wild, researches and teaches in the areas of clinical ethics, public health ethics, global health ethics, ethics of data-driven technologies, and history of medicine. The team ‚Ethics in Medicine‘ is looking for a full-time Research Assistant/Associate (m/f/d) in Medical Ethics The salary is based on remuneration group TV-L E13 of the pay scale for the German public sector; salary scale is depending on qualifications. The initial contract will run for three years (with options for extension). The position is available as of the next possible date (part-time possible). It is open to candidates at various stages of career, both candidates with and without a PhD are welcome to apply.
