Workshop "Scattering by random heterogeneous media"
Date: September 13-15, 2021
Location: University of Augsburg, Department of Mathematics, room 1009-1010.
The workshop is hybrid, hence online participation is also possible.
Organizers: Francesca Bonizzoni, Daniel Peterseim (Augsburg University)
Abstract: The topic of this Workshop are methodological as well as computational aspects concerned with the numerical discretisation of wave propagation phenomena.
Particular emphasis will be dedicated to challenging aspects of scattering problems arising in high-frequency regime and in presence of heterogeneous or random material properties.
The purpose is to bring together the experts in the field and collect the most recent results, as well as to provide a platform for exchange of new concepts and ideas.
