© University of Augsburg

OLHE aims, to promote awareness, knowledge and good practices of outdoor learning (OL) in higher education (HE) across Europe to increase the use of outdoor spaces in higher education for transformative learning and its benefits for health, well-being, the development of transversal and transformative competences and green skills.

We identify the variance of existing practices of OL in HE at participating HEIs through a survey & interviews and develop Recommendations for Good Practice, which will be piloted across disciplines at OLHE Partner HEIs. A professional network will be established on local, regional and EU levels, with links to existing professional associations. Targeting knowledge exchange and sustainable, Europe-wide dissemination of project outputs and results through publications, events & training opportunities.
