FOR WHICH PURPOSES DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?
Data Processing in the Context of the Study

We process your data for the purposes of mapping and analysing the current state of diffusion of teaching outdoors in higher education.

 

Data Processing for Interviews and Networking within the OLHE Project

We process your data (your E-Mail address) for conducting further interviews and developing a national and European Outdoor Learning network for educators as part of the EU project “Outdoor Learning in Higher Education (OLHE)” which promotes outdoor learning practices in higher education institutions.


WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA?

Art. 6 (1) item a GDPR – consent
The consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your data carried out on the basis of your consent until the withdrawal.

 

DOES THE PROCESSING INVOLVE ANY AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING (INCLUDING PROFILING)?

No, the processing of the personal data does not involve any automated decision-making.


ARE YOU OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

No, you are not obligated to provide your data. However, participation in this project/study or network requires the processing of your data.


TO WHICH OTHER PARTIES DO WE PASS ON YOUR DATA?
Data Processing in the Context of the Study

Yes, your data will be shared within in the above named project consortium.

Data Processing for Interviews and Networking within the OLHE Project

Your contact information (E-mail address) will also be shared with researchers involved in this project for the purpose of conducting interviews and developing a network, provided you have given your consent.
The research results presented in the form of publications, academic papers, and/or research reports, etc. do not include any personal details and therefore do not allow for any conclusions to be drawn about you as a person. Upon request, the data will be transmitted to the reviewers selected by the respective publisher for the purpose of proving compliance with the standards of good academic practice.

 

HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?
Data Processing in the Context of the Study

We process your data only as long as it is necessary for the aforementioned research purposes. Additionally, we process your data only as long as legal retention periods or contractual retention periods due to requirements from funding providers exist.


Data Processing for Interviews and Networking within the OLHE Project

We will store your data only for as long as you wish to be included in the aforementioned project/network.


WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT?

As a data subject in the context of these data processing operations, you have the following rights vis-a-vis WU as the controller: information and access, rectification, deletion, restriction of data processing, data portability, and objection. As a data subject, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
