Topic of doctoral thesis/project title

Development of indicators for water system state resilience and quantification through earth system models

About me

My background is in Soil Science and Global Change. Between completing my master's studies and starting my doctoral research at the Chair for Regional Climate and Hydrology, I worked at the Institute of Soil Physics and Rural Water Management in Vienna, where I explored how land use and slope position affect soil water fluxes. What fascinates me most is the delicate interplay between land, water, and atmosphere. During my PhD, I aim to develop practical methods for quantifying the resilience of water balance and to gain insights into climate protection from the perspectives of other disciplines. I believe every challenge is an opportunity for growth, and my motto is: "Nurturing resilience, one drop at a time."
