At CIHR, young research development takes place in the form of a close integration between research and teaching, both of which are understood as a unit at the university as a whole and at the CIHR. The aim of the CIHR is therefore to promote interdisciplinary health research and its topics, starting at lectures and by ensuring that research content is integrated in teaching.
