The Language Centre of the University of Augsburg offers an integrated language skills course which has been designed to meet the needs of exchange students whose native language is not English.

This weekly four-hour course focuses on listening and reading comprehension as well as on written and oral text production. Central grammatical issues are also explored using authentic material. In addition, participants work on systematically improving their English vocabulary, while at the same time learning about current cultural issues of the English-speaking world.

Requirements for obtaining a maximum of 6 ECTS credit points:

• active participation in class
• an oral presentation.
