The University Archives takes on archival-ready and archive-worthy documents from the various university organisations, institutions, committees and groups. As a matter of principle, the documents of an organisation where they originated and where they were filed are each formed into a separate collection in the archive. The corresponding fonds designation (e.g. "Rectorate", "Faculty of Law") clearly expresses the context of origin.
