faust e.V. can help quickly or arrange assistance when talented foreign students from poorer countries, usually outside Europe, need financial help. For reasons often beyond their control, many students find themselves in material hardship and are forced to quit their studies in Augsburg, sometimes shortly before graduation. In these situations, faust e.V. can offer help.

The non-profit association for the support of foreign students in Augsburg e. V. (faust e.V.) is an initiative of members of the Student Union (Studierendenwerk) Augsburg, the University of Augsburg and the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg as well as citizens of Augsburg. Founded in 1999, the association was the first initiative of its kind in a Bavarian university city.
