Study content:

In this study programme, students acquire advanced subject-specific and interdisciplinary competences in dealing with historical sources. The very research-oriented range of courses allows for a variety of thematic specialisations in the course of the degree programme. Thus, preliminary studies for the later Master's thesis can be conducted at an early stage. Excursions and interdisciplinary modules in related disciplines are also an integral part of the programme. Application-related and professional competences are developed through creditable internships and project work.

  1. Bachelor’s degree certificate or comparable degree
    If the certificate is not yet available, proof must be provided of the exam results in this programme, the number of currently accumulated credit points in your studies and the required number of credit points for achieving a degree in your study programme (Transcript of Records). Students of the University of Augsburg attach a record of their modules and courses (printable from the STUDIS-Onlineportal).
  2. Proof of language skills on level B1 CEFR in one modern foreign language (in the case that language skills can not be proven by your degree).
  3. Proof of Latin language skills on level "gesicherte Kenntnisse".
 
  1. The Bachelor's degree certificate or comparable degree as a certified copy by a translator sworn in Germany if the originals are not written in German, English or French. (Please note: China, India and Vietnam only with original APS certificate). If the certificate is not available, proof of the exam results achieved in this degree programme, the number of credit points included in the calculation of the average grade, as well as the number of credit points required for the completion of the corresponding degree programme must be enclosed (Transcript of Records), which must also be available in a certified translation.
  2. Proof of language skills on level B1 CEFR in one modern foreign language (in the case that language skills cannot be proven by your degree or your mother tongue)
  3. Proof of Latin language skills on level "gesicherte Kenntnisse".
  4. Proof of German language skills

Proofs for points 2 to 4 must be attached as certified copies or certified translations if the originals are not written in German, English or French.
