The Leopold Mozart College of Music at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences at the University of Augsburg is seeking to make the following permanent part-time appointment at the next possible starting date.
 

Professor of Voice
Salary grade W2
 

We are seeking a distinguished artistic personality with several years of experience teaching in the university sector. The successful candidate will represent the subject in accordance with the university’s concept, which integrates artistic, pedagogical, and academic practices in music education. Responsibilities include teaching in the artistic major of voice as well as directing choir and vocal ensembles in the bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in music. 

A willingness to participate in the committees for academic self-administration is required. The teaching load is 9.5 contact hours, and the language of instruction is German.

Prerequisites for employment are a completed university degree, pedagogical aptitude, and a special aptitude for artistic work, as well as additional artistic achievements. Alternatively, if there is a special public interest, candidates who can demonstrate outstanding subject-related achievements in the form of practical experience, as well as pedagogical suitability may also be appointed.
